’m absolutely blown away by the incredible experience I had at Harry’s BBQ in Lomita! From the moment we walked in, the warm and friendly atmosphere set the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal. We were greeted with genuine smiles and promptly seated, and the free arcade games kept my kids entertained right away—a huge plus for families! Our waitress, Naomi, was nothing short of phenomenal. Her attentiveness and kindness went above and beyond—she made sure we had everything we needed and truly made us feel special. She even took the time to interact with my boys, which was such a thoughtful touch. And then, the food arrived…WOW. The BBQ ribs were hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My kids, who are usually picky eaters, devoured every bite on their plates, which is a rare feat! Harry’s BBQ is a gem that delivers not just mouthwatering food but also top-tier service and a family-friendly vibe. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Have used Harry's Oklahoma Style Smokehouse BBQ to cater for our business. They are excellent. The process is easy, they show up on time, the food is fantastic and our employees are very happy to have their BBQ lunch. They are our go to restaurant for catering. They recently opened a restaurant in their building. it is a classic go to for BBQ.

Small spot , massive flavor ... the food is amazing and they are clearly doing it right here. Walking into the restaurant your hit with smoking wood smell thick and strong. Amazing place, let's keep them around for a long time.

As a KC native, I am picky about barbecue and this is one of the only places down in LA that lives up to expectations. Solid food (we tried ribs, burnt ends, the tri-tip sandwich, onion rings, and the loaded mac and cheese with brisket), large portions, and reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. They also gave us a discount for eating in for next time. Will definitely be back.

Great little spot in Lomita. Big portions and good flavor, Full rack or ribs is enough for 2 people.

The Hamburger was cooked to perfection. Onion rings were excellent. Tri-tip sandwich tender and flavor was beyond great. Excellent food. Peach cobbler was just a plus on top of the GREAT lunch.

I randomly found this place through a Grubhub promotion. It’s amazing and delicious. They do tend to forget an item in my order but they are super chill and I’ll keep going back. Highly recommended. Parking can be a little tricky.

Good, but $40 per person minimum. BBQ is delicious, but they need to step up the bread/rolls. For these prices everything better be homemade.

Wow!! This place is incredible. Friendly and fast service. I work right around the corner, and I will be sure to visit often. I would recommend anyone who loves real BBQ to try this place. The price for verses the quantity and quality of food you get is worth it.

I was born and raised in Oklahoma, so I know Oklahoma style when I taste it, and this is the real thing! The ribs are the best I’ve had since I left Oklahoma many years ago. The brisket is the best I’ve had since the last time I made one. The okra and potato salad are the closest things to my Mother’s I’ve had since she passed 15 years ago. I appreciate all the Oklahoma memorabilia, especially the Oklahoma State University stuff—Go Cowboys! My only complaint is the Sooners hat.

YUMMY! Hubby and I EACH ordered a 3 meat dinner combo, so we got to taste more sides and 5 meats. we both had baby backs (meaty, juicy and tender), and then split chicken (juicy, but skin seemed to have either slipped off or the one we got was just skinless - still tasty), brisket (too lean for brisket, so a bit over cooked and dry - okay with bbq sauce, but I would skip it next time), tri-tip (juicy, succulent, tender, tasty), and the burnt ends (far from "burnt," more like just cubes of meat - tasty, tender, juicy - my fave!). I'd order and be happy with any of these again in the future except the brisket (assuming the brisket was the one on the lower right of my photo and that I didn't get it mixed up with the tritip in the dead center of the photo). For the sides, my husband liked the coleslaw - I'm not a coleslaw lover, but found it rather bland - as if taken out of a bag with no seasoning or dressing. we both had the fried okra - delicious, and shared the creamed spinach. I could have eaten all of the creamed spinach by myself!! REALLY good! I even liked the buns (hubby was disappointed that they weren't cornbread). For value - rather pricey - $66 for two people, except that, once you plate it, you realize that 3 people could have easily shared, maybe even 4 'normal' eaters! we will definitely be getting takeout from Harry's again when on a diet break!

Would have given an all around 5 but we had a very large order, so we had faith it was all there, but there were several things missing. We were too far away to call and go back. Otherwise, the food was great, the gentleman who took our order by phone, and the man at the counter were so helpful and very nice.

First time here, ordered the brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, macaroni and cheese, and onion rings. Everything was delicious and we'll go back to take family to enjoy as well. There is no indoor seating but they do have a few tables on the sidewalk so it was fine. They also do take out. I appreciate that they serve BBQ sauce on the side without us asking.

Nothing to complain about. Excellent energy from Jose. The food is good right down the line. Even though it's a little off the bbq mainstream, The theta chicken sandwich would make for a perfect lunch. The potato salad was a little runny My preference is for a little more vinegar a little less mayo but hey it's their recipe. Lucky to have this place place

Today we visited Harry's BBQ in Lomita California. This place has been around for a very long time. The lobby is small with no inside dining available. Once inside you will see lots of photos of famous singers and actors. Apparently the owner had a nightclub bck in the days in Oklahoma where all these famous people would attend, see photos. I was greeted warmly by Debbie, she was very helpfull and had really good knowledge about the food. We ordered the 3 item combo from the board. But because we wanted more 2 brisket and 1 tri tip. There are two sides that come with it. We picked Onion rings and mashed potato. The comes with two bread rolls and a butter. The tri tip and brisket had a nice rich smokey aroma with a nice amount of BBQ sauce. The potatoes come only with black pepper on the top. The onion rings were good and crispy. The Tri Tip was very tender and favorable. Nice rich smokey taste. The Brisket was just the same. Very nice!! The mashed potatoes were very nice tasting and smooth. I highly suggest this place!

The Best BBQ in Torrance! Great portions for the price. The people are friendly and very welcoming. Love the family oriented environment.

Harry's is the cutest little place for some amazing BBQ. The staff was so friendly and gave great suggestions. The food is absolutely fantastic. we had the pulled pork sandwiches which were loaded with meat and the perfect amount of sauce. The hot link dinner was a hit, perfectly paired with their yummy mashed potatoes. Coleslaw was sassy for sure, it was light and tasted great with the pulled pork. Baked beans were lip smacking good. Just go try it, a little $$ but worth it, and you will be full! oh, don't forget to get the peach cobbler, it's drool worthy!

Harry’s OK Style Smokehouse has parking in the back. There are no tables inside, just a few on the sidewalk outside. We ate outside because it was a beautiful day. I devoured the fried okra first. It was delicious with ranch dressing. I ordered the lunch special with baby back ribs, and they were very tender and flavorful. I also had a side of baked beans. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try more.

This BBQ was by far the best we have come across in Los Angeles. Being from Texas it's hard to find a good BBQ place here that meets our standards but they definitely hit the spot. The brisket was great along with the BBQ sauce. The fried okra was cooked perfect. The baked beans were delicious and my husband absolutely enjoyed his mac-n-cheese and potato salad. The only thing was they forgot to give us our dinner rolls. But the good taste made up for that. I recommend this place if you are looking for BBQ that tastes like it was made in Texas.

Harry’s is take out only. There may be chairs and tables outside if you want to eat there. My parents were from Oklahoma and my mommy would barbecue bologna. Harry’s is the only place I know in SoCal that you can get barbecued bologna. I ended up buying 2 pounds 1 for me and my brother who texted in his order after I responded to a group text about Fourth of July eats. So I ordered baby back ribs, tri tip and Mac and cheese for hubby, baked beans and peach cobbler. We have plenty left for the fourth.

Ordered for the first after passing Harry's often,and delicious!! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu items. Ordered the Rib tips and a pulled pork sandwich fresh tasting not dry very juicy and tender.

I was excited to try this place. I love BBQ. I didn't know about Oklahoma style but the pictures looked delicious. I found this spot thru Groupon. I bought the deal so I would try it. The location is a bit far so it took awhile for me to use the Groupon. I was in the southern end of Torrance and remembered this place was nearby in Lomita. I'm happy that I remembered because the food was delicious. I wanted to try as much as I could, I got the 3 meat combo dinner & Brisket dinner. So the meats I tried were ribs, brisket, tri-tip & chicken. All were delicious and would get again. I would like to try the pulled pork sandwich & the beef rib dinner. I tried 4 different sides but the stand out one is the corn fritters. There are a couple more sides I would like to try. Prices may look high but I ordered 2 dinners and it was enough food for 2 adults and 2 kids. So you get good portions. I will be back. Just wish I lived closer.
